Warranty Policy

This warranty is valid for products installed & used in Singapore only and for the warranty period stated in the Instruction Manual / Invoice.

The warranty guarantees the product and all parts thereof to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any application under this warranty is limited to repairing, or replacement of any part which proves to be defective within the warranty period.

Below terms & conditions are applicable to products with standard ALD Warranty (“Warranty”), purchased from & registered with ALD Global.

  1. The warranty is offered by ALD, with charge, to the purchaser of an applicable ALD product (“product”) and is only valid in the country of original purchase (Singapore)
  2. The warranty is a value-added service provided by ALD, that begins upon the first day of purchase for the period stated in the Genvie Online Store Sales Invoice.
  3. The warranty is non-transferrable, non-negotiable, or non-assignable to any third party.
  4. The warranty is not a guarantee or promise relating to the nature of the material, workmanship or performance of the product.
  5. The warranty only covers mechanical and/or electrical defects (please refer to “Exclusions from Coverage” below):
  6. Exclusions from Coverage:
      • Any non-operating items such as, but not limited to, paint, colouring, accessories, detachable plugs/attachments and/or product finishes
      • Upholstery defects does not apply to standard wear & tear issues similar, and not limited to, stains from any liquids, gels or transferable items, marks from frequent usage, poor storage conditions and/or scratches/abrasions from external bodies/items. A technical evaluation is required to ascertain upholstery defects, and, if determined thereafter to be the result of manufacturing defect(s), affected parts will be replaced (there is an ordering lead time of 06 to 08 weeks and colors/materials might defer slightly from original product’s upholstery)
      • Consumable items used in or with the product such as but not limited to batteries, filters & gel pads
      • User performed routine maintenance and cleaning as indicated in the operating/owner’s manual
      • Unauthorized modifications made to the product, altered serial numbers or repairs performed by non-authorized repairers
      • External faults such as wiring and electrical connection or defects from using wrong electrical supplies
      • Accidental or intentional physical damage or poor storage conditions
      • Damage as a result of natural disasters, civil unrest, fire, theft, spilled liquids, corrosion, environmental elements, animal or insect infestation;
      • Commercial use (multi-user organizations), public rental, use for profit
      • Shipping freight, delivery and/or custom/government charges for out of country assistance;
      • Diagnoses where no defect has been found or noted
      • Under no circumstances shall coverage extend to any loss or injury to a person or loss damage to property or any incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages ot any direct or indirect loss,
    1. ALD has the sole option to repair or to replace a product with like kind, quality & specifications in the event of product malfunction. If the product is replaced, the warranty will be automatically terminated. The product with the original warranty will then become property of ALD (if the replacement is accepted by the customer) without need for further authorization.
    2. The total value of all repairs and/or replacements made during the term of warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.
    3. A product service fee and any spare part(s) cost (if any is required for repairs) will be charged to the customer if any product repairs/maintenance/servicing of the product is no longer under any warranty modules.
    4. When product assistance is required, please contact the Service Centre. Contact Options are:
      • Option 1: Send your product to the Service Centre at our headquarters, located at 2 Bukit Batok Street 23, #02-16/17 Bukit Batok Connection, Singapore 659554 during 0900hrs to 1800hrs, from Monday to Friday.
      • Option 2: A collection service is available at S$80.00 per trip for all products if you do not have the means to bring it to our headquarters. Kindly contact the customer service staff to schedule your collection.
      • Option 3: Call our customer service line (+65 6252 2252) for further assistance. Note that we might not be able to solve your issue if your item has a major fault. If you are unable to reach us, please e-mail us at cs@genvie.com.sg with a quick brief about the issue and we will respond within 24 working hours.

    Note: In no event, shall ALD Global Pte Ltd be liable to the purchaser for any consequential damages or loss, including, without limitation to, injury to person(s) or property and loss of use of the products. Please retain the original invoice for verification purposes when required. This warranty is invalid if the serial number on the product has been altered, defected or moved.
